Is my shop's data separate from my personal CardMint collection?
Yes. A shop is its own workspace. Its cards, costs and customers never appear in anyone's personal collection, and personal cards never appear in the shop. If you collect too, you switch between the two with one click.
What do I need to get started?
A phone or a webcam for photos and a web browser. A USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner and a label printer are optional: labels print on standard Avery sheets or common label-printer rolls.
What happens when it identifies a card wrong?
The checks are built to catch it: a card whose details disagree with the checklist or with themselves goes to the review queue with the reason, and stays out of exports until someone confirms or corrects it.
Which systems can I export to?
Shopify (its product CSV), Cin7 Core (using the templates from your own account), and any other system through a custom CSV you lay out once and reuse. You can also import your existing inventory from a CSV.
Can I sign up without talking to anyone?
Yes. Sign up your shop: one form for the shop, its first store and you as its owner. It's a CardMint for Shops account, so you don't need a collector account. Ask for the free 90-day pilot as you sign up, or choose a plan under Billing (paid by card through Stripe), then invite your staff. Each of them gets their own login from the invitation.
How does billing work?
You pay per store each month. Every plan includes unlimited staff and a pool of scans per store, shared by everyone in the shop. Extra scans can be added when you need them.
